Congratulations to Jason Allen and the Des Nedhe Retail Team

We are proud to recognize that Jason Allen, who leads our Retail Division at Des Nedhe Group, was invited to participate in a round table discussion organized by the Native Women’s Association of Canada (NWAC). This important event brought together provincial representatives to explore strategies for increasing Indigenous women’s participation in the workforce.

Jason was invited to join the conversation because of the success our Retail division has had in employing participants from NWAC’s workforce program. During the initial rollout, our Retail Division proudly employed three of the six Indigenous female participants. In the second round, we hired four more, and Solstice Coffee, another Des Nedhe Group company, welcomed one more participant. In total, Des Nedhe Group employed eight program participants — a testament to our commitment to creating meaningful employment opportunities for Indigenous women.

The round table, held in Gatineau, was a key step toward expanding this impactful program, and we’re honored to have been part of it. A big congratulations to Jason Allen and his team for their continued leadership and success in making a real difference in Indigenous employment.
