With this focus, Tron Construction & Mining now operates as Flatstone Construction. The name Flatstone comes from a traditional area north of Patuanak, where members of English River First Nation continue to spend time on the land fishing, hunting, and gathering with family. It is a place associated with seasonal return, reliability, and responsibility, values that guide how we approach our work, partnerships, and long-term performance.

Flatstone builds on Tron’s operational experience, strengthened by new leadership and supported by the full capabilities of the Des Nedhe Constructors Group. As part of our integrated construction platform, Flatstone brings together specialized companies under a disciplined operating model focused on strong execution, improved controls and reporting, a consistent safety culture, and reliable delivery at scale.
