Sean Willy to Speak at The Globe and Mail’s ‘New Nuclear’ Event
Sean Willy, President and CEO of Des Nedhe Group, will be a featured panelist at The Globe and Mail’s “New Nuclear – What Does Industry Growth Mean for Canada?” event on February 14, 2025. Sean will participate virtually in the panel discussion “Bridging the Divide – The Future of Nuclear in Canada”, alongside Sarah Roberton (Environics Research) and Tracy Primeau (Agile Bear Consulting).
The discussion will explore public perceptions of nuclear energy, particularly in relation to safety, waste management, and resource allocation. Indigenous Communities are central to these conversations—bringing perspectives on risk, opportunity, and reconciliation. Sean will share insights on how Indigenous partnerships and leadership can shape the future of nuclear energy in Canada.
Sean brings over 25 years of experience in resource development and Indigenous economic inclusion. His leadership at Des Nedhe Group continues to foster collaborative, forward-thinking partnerships that support both Indigenous economic development and Canada’s broader energy transition.
