Jordan Baptiste

Des Nedhe Group

Managing Director, Prairie Tamarack LP

There is no doubt Jordan Baptiste’s deep roots in the Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg First Nation shapes his ethos as a business leader. With feet entrenched in both worlds, Jordan has spent the last decade connecting Indigenous communities and Indigenous businesses with industry.

The son of one of Canada’s first Indigenous IT professionals, Jordan believes every Indigenous child has the potential to be a trailblazer. He has been active in the field of educational reform and is currently the Vice Chair of STR8 UP – a grassroots organization helping to inform Saskatchewan’s anti-gang strategy.

Representing a new generation of Indigenous business leaders, Jordan’s aim is to build collaborations in which Indigenous communities can chart their own path towards economic success.
